ACAI JUICE

Acai Juice (Euterpe Oleracea)Acai Palm trees flourish in the lush rainforests in South America, the Acai berry juice (pronounced “ah-sigh-ee”) is an amazing antioxidant containing amino acids and vital trace elements important for muscle contraction and regeneration capabilities as well. It also has dietary fiber, excellent for digestive tract health, high levels of calcium, phosphorus, and vitamins A and E.This berry also contains high concentrations of polyphenols, making it an excellent source of antioxidants, containing as much as 33 times the antioxidant content of red wine grapes. This could be one reason why the French have a very low percentage of cardiovascular disease in spite of their high fatty diets.

Acai also contains phytosterols (compounds of plant cell membranes), which help reduce blood plasma cholesterol. Amazon tribes have known of these life-enhancing benefits for fighting diseases and infections, strengthening the immune system, strengthening the heart, and fostering overall good health and healing. Producers recently asked Brad Pitt for a recent film, “Burn After Reading”, to lose down to 5% body fat for the upcoming shoot. His trainer got him to use Acai to get his energy level high, and he lost 20 pounds in two short months in time for the shoot. A study published in the ” Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry” on Jan 12, 2006, concluded that Acai berries triggered a self-destruct response in up to 86% of leukemia cells in a vitro test.
